You may have heard the term Righteous Among the Nations, or the righteous among the nations and wandering if there is any kind of definition of this title. This is not an arbitrary designation, but an official state-sponsored honor award from the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, on behalf of the State of Israel. There are certain criteria to meet to get this title has. The general approach for the issuance of this permit is to Gentiles who saved Jewish honor or saved lives during the Holocaust.

Statistics of the Righteous Among the Nations, which were awarded during the year is interesting but does not say. The numbers do not necessarily reflect the attitudes of the general population during the war years held and do not reflect the number of Jews who were really saved, or the total number of rescuers. This is because many are simply not known and therefore the statistics were not as many titles already released and explain any specific historical facts.

One of the most interesting concepts in self-help books (or, as some call “success literature”) is the principal question in terms of behavior. There are those that the external behavior of the interior ultimately determines argue beliefs. But Stephen R. Covey has the opposite approach in his book The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Farms vs. school

Covey says that the difference between the behavior-based advice and guidance on similar principles, is necessary for success in a company and what is needed based academic success. He argues that the kind of literature self-help/success took a turn when the company became more industrialized and the school has gained more importance on. Because the company needed an education and a delayed gratification that the patience of those who instilled worked on farms, and therefore they are much more willing to consider their attitudes and outlook on life are to achieve success.
